When will the merchandise be available?
We want merchandise that sets us apart from what everyone else is doing. So we don’t want the typical t shirts, hats, etc. As a result, this will take some time to implement. We appreciate your patience in this regard.
How do I submit a demo for review?
We don’t do the typical unsolicited music jargon crap that the majors have on their demo submission pages. However, due to legal matters we will require every submission made to have an acknowledgement form agreed to BEFORE submission will be accepted. This is so everyone involved can be protected. We then ask you to simply supply your Spotify or other music link so that we can check you out.
Fill out the form on the contact page.
How long will it take to hear back from someone regarding my demo?
As mentioned earlier, we prefer quality over quantity. As a result of this it will take quite awhile to hear back. However, its’ safe to assume if you don’t hear back from us within 90 days, then it just wasn’t a good match. Not saying you don’t have talent, just that your talent isn’t quite matching what we are looking for.
Why would I sign with Real-Life Music in the first place if I can do all this on my own?
You’re right! You shouldn’t sign with us if you are one of those artists who don’t have jobs, families, you know, real life responsibilities that require much of your attention elsewhere! I mean not to hate on the people who lack such responsibilities, but the truth of the matter is, such ones should be doing much of the work of promoting themselves and polishing their talents on their own! Let’s face it, the music industry has changed and much of the things that the labels were doing for the artists are now expected to be done ( or at least started ) by the artist themselves. However, by us being a small independent label we make exceptions for people with exceptional talent! If you have a day job, family, etc. but you have an amazing talent, we can help market you, set up recording sessions and such in order to take you to the next level. Who knows? You may even be able to quit your day job at some point! Wouldn’t that be great?
What is the community link used for?
This is where fans of our artists come to express their spirited support and feelings for the music they’ve heard from our artists. The fans can also upload photos of themselves wearing Real-Life Music gear.
They will also eventually be a way for producers to do remixes of songs and show them off to the fans.
What if I can’t find the answer to my question on the FAQ page?
If you can’t find an answer to your question simply fill out the contact
form and we will get back to you. If we find that many others have the
exact same question, then we will also add that to our FAQ page.
